On Friday, Dallas and I had to say goodbye to our sweet Willie Nelson kitten. We knew he had feline leukemia, and had already nursed him back to health once. Unfortunately, this relapse got the best of him, and we decided we didn’t want him to suffer any longer.
He was really the coolest cat, with such a funny personality.
So this Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, holiday season – please think about making a donation to your nearest pet rescue. They really do help, and save kittens and puppies from the street, or a worse fate, and help them stay healthy and find forever homes. Although Willie Nelson found us, and we adopted him right off the street, I know that these shelters need all the support they can get. So help a puppy or kitten this Christmas.
Goodbye my redheaded stranger – you will be missed by many.
