Updates

Hi all. Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been in the hospital since Wednesday night with pancreatitis.

I went in on Wednesday for a procedure called an ercp, which was supposed to help figure out what was causing all my stomach problems. It was unsuccessful.

I left the appointment with mild pain that escalated through the night. By 11:30 pm we were back in the ER. I was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which can be a rare complication from an ERCP.

I’ve been on IV fluids and unable to eat or drink anything. We tried fluids yesterday, but I couldn’t keep them down. Today seems so far so good. I had some apple juice and veggie broth this morning.They’ll let me outta here once I can eat solid foods. Hopefully that will be soon. I’m so ready to be back at home.
